What is the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme
The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme is a mandatory emissions trading scheme administered by the Environment Agency. Organisations that are required to comply with CRC will be expected to purchase an allowance for each tonne of CO2 they emit. The aim is for CRC to provide a regulatory incentive to improve energy efficiency in large public and private sector organisations.
